A State of Trance 850 album drops one day before massive event

Ahead of ‘A State of Trance 850’, taking place tomorrow 16th February, Armin van Buuren has dropped an official compilation album to coincide with the festival.

The longstanding event, curated by the trance legend as an offshoot of his famed radio show, will take place in the humongous Jaarsbeurs venue in Utrecht, The Netherlands tomorrow, and boasts a vast line-up featuring the likes of Ben Nicky, Neelix, Liquid Soul, John O’Callaghan and more including van Burren himself.

As a way of getting ticketholders excited for the event, and as consolation for those who can’t make it, an official LP has been released featuring tracks by most of the 37 artists playing at the festival. You can listen to it here.

There are still some tickets available for ‘A State of Trance 850’, if you’re in the Utrecht area and feel like a massive night of trance spread over five stages. You can pick up tickets here.

Armin van Buuren has kicked off 2018 with a bunch of interesting projects. In January, he became the first DJ to peform upside down (we still don’t know why). He also released his new single, ‘Sex, Love & Water’ a few weeks ago. You can revisit his set from DJ Mag HQ Ibiza last year below.
